Parent, Teacher & Friends Association (P.T.F.A.)
A lot of people ask, “What is the P.T.F.A?” Well, it’s YOU and me and the other mums and dads of the pupils of Ellington Infant School. We are all part of the Parent, Teachers and Friends Association and by supporting the fairs, discos and other events you are all contributing to its fundraising.
Your support so far this school year has provided a stylish new mobile cooker and trolley for use by our children and also a book for each child at Christmas. We have also established the Library Fundraising Project to help the school to refurbish and re-stock the library. So far we have managed to donate over £3,000 which we could not have done without your help.
The P.T.F.A meet informally throughout the school year and if you want to know more about what we do you can always find a committee member at the Tuesday Coffee Mornings. These are held in the Community Room from 9.00am to 10.30. FREE Coffee, tea and Juice is provided as well as a few biscuits to dunk! It is a relaxed and informal time to chat about whatever is on your mind and make some new friends. There are plenty of toys on hand for any younger children you bring along.
If you are interested in becoming more active in the P.T.F.A please use the link below or leave your details at reception and one of the committee members will get in touch with you as soon as possible. We also welcome your feedback on our events and any ideas for new activities we could organise that you may have. Or perhaps you have some suggestions on how we can enhance your child’s experience at Ellington Infant School.
So if you have a fabulous idea we hope to hear from you soon.
