Dear Parent/Guardian
I am delighted to be able to announce that the Governing Body has appointed Mrs Nicola Brown as the new Headteacher for Ellington Infants School. Mrs Brown is currently the Headteacher of an infant school in Hampshire; she will be joining us at the start of term 5. Governors were hugely impressed by her experience, her passion for education, as well as her caring and inspiring personality. I know that she will be perfect for the school and for your children and that she is looking forward to getting to know all of them and to developing excellent working relationships with all parents and carers.
As you know, Mrs Jan Robinson will retire at Easter. She has been our Headteacher for nine years and has guided the school not only with great expertise, but also with a love for every child that has had the good fortune to have benefited from her care. I have been very privileged to have been able to work with her over these years and, like you, I hope that she will enjoy her last terms at Ellington Infant School.
